Welcome to VolumeEdge ("VolumeEdge", "VolumeEdge Pro", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at www.volumedge.app, our technical charting terminals, fundamental scoring engines, financial statement tools, and related applications (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, subscribing, or continuing to browse or interact with the Service, you signify your agreement to these Terms. If you do not agree to all provisions, do not access or use VolumeEdge.

1. Description of the Platform & Services

VolumeEdge provides software tools for market participants, equity analysts, and active traders to analyze financial and market dynamics:

• Technical & Order Flow Terminal: 1-minute historical Volume Profile calculation engine, Point of Control (POC), Value Area High (VAH) & Value Area Low (VAL), Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD), Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP), technical overlays, and Institutional Simulation Algorithms.
• Fundamental Quality & Valuation Scorecards: Comprehensive 5-Pillar Fundamental Quality Scoring (Profitability, Growth, Financial Health, Operating Efficiency, Stability) and Valuation Multiples Analysis (Historical 5Y Medians for P/E, P/FCF, EV/EBITDA, P/S, PEG, and FCF Yield vs. US 10-Year Treasury Benchmarks).
• Interactive Financial Statements: Collapsible multi-year Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flows with year-over-year (YoY) performance metrics and ECharts financial visualizations.
• TradingView-Style Command Palette & Watchlists: Centered search system with category filtering, sortable financial column headers, and cloud-synced user watchlists.
• AI Market Copilot: Algorithmic contextual interpretations of volume nodes, trend structures, and financial metrics.

2. STRICT FINANCIAL & INVESTMENT DISCLAIMER (NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE)

• No Personalized Advice: Nothing published, computed, or generated on VolumeEdge constitutes a recommendation, endorsement, solicitation, or offer to buy or sell any stock, security, option, future, or digital asset.
• Algorithmic Nature: All Quality Scores (e.g. 0.0/5 to 5.0/5), Valuation Grades, Point of Control lines, and AI briefings are computed algorithmically from mathematical rules applied to public financial data and historical market data.
• Capital at Risk: Financial markets involve substantial risk of loss. Past financial performance or historical volume distributions do not guarantee future stock price results. You assume full and exclusive responsibility for any trading or investment decisions you make.

3. Market Data Accuracy & Third-Party Feeds

VolumeEdge aggregates data from third-party financial data providers, public SEC Edgar filings, and market feeds. While we strive for precision and rigorous automated validation:

• Data is processed on periodic batch cycles (including End-of-Day updates and cached 1-minute historical order flow buffers).
• We do not guarantee that third-party data feeds are entirely free of transmission errors, corporate action adjustments, or temporary reporting delays.
• VolumeEdge is optimized for strategic swing analysis, equity valuation, and deep research, rather than microsecond high-frequency execution.

4. User Accounts, Watchlists & Authentication

Access to personalized features (including cloud watchlists and Pro terminal privileges) requires registering an account authenticated through Supabase Authentication.

• You agree to provide a valid, accurate email address and to maintain the confidentiality of your authentication credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that engage in abusive querying, automated bot scraping, or credential sharing.

5. Subscriptions, 7-Day Free Trial & Billing

• 7-Day Free Trial: New users can activate a 7-day full-access trial of VolumeEdge Pro with zero upfront credit card commitment.
• Billing & Renewal: Following trial expiration, continuing Pro access requires a recurring monthly subscription ($19.99/month) or annual plan billed through our secure payment gateway partner, Stripe.
• Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time with one click by navigating to the "Manage Subscription" link in your settings or on the pricing page, which connects to the Stripe Customer Portal.
• Non-Refundable Policy: Because we provide an unrestricted 7-day free trial to evaluate all features prior to payment, all subscription charges are strictly non-refundable, and no partial or prorated credits are issued for mid-cycle cancellations.

6. Intellectual Property & Fair Use Restrictions

All proprietary scoring algorithms, 5-pillar calculation models, UI designs, brand marks, and software architecture are the exclusive intellectual property of VolumeEdge.

• No Automated Scraping: You may not use scrapers, spiders, headless crawlers, or automated scripts to systematically harvest data, scores, or charts from our platform.
• No Unauthorized Redistribution: You may not resell, sub-license, white-label, or publicly redistribute raw database records or programmatic API responses without explicit written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, VolumeEdge, its creators, directors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of capital, trading losses, loss of profits, or data corruption arising from your use of or inability to access the platform. In all events, our total cumulative liability is strictly limited to the amount paid by you to VolumeEdge in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to VolumeEdge shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), without giving effect to conflict-of-law principles.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms as our platform evolves with new financial analysis capabilities. Material updates will be highlighted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of VolumeEdge after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
